Aoilotus is a combination of the Japanese word for blue (aoi) and the English word lotus. It is a Japanese-English translation of my full first name Neel Kamal, which is an ancient Sanskrit name meaning "Blue Water-lily/Lotus" ( नीलकमल).

I am a NAATI Certified translator, Japanese-English with over 15 years of experience in my profession. I am also trained as an interpreter, and can offer services as a proofreader and MTPE checker.

I hold a Master of Arts in Interpreting and Translation (MAJIT) degree, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Linguistic Research.
I also have extensive experience as a private English instructor of general and business English, and an instructor of Japanese-English translation and interpreting.
